There is just something about blue magnesite stones that I have always loved so much. My love for it developed while living in New Mexico for 4 years, where I would collect Turquoise and Magnesite jewelry off the streets in Santa Fe. I remember searching through 100’s of rings, and picking out most incredible pieces that were handmade by the local artisans.

When I found the jewelry designer, Raven & Riley, I felt such an instant connection to the line. The artist behind Raven & Riley hand makes all of the pieces in Colorado, so whenever I wear one of the items it instantly reminds me of home. I wore the Nixon Lariat for a seaside date at Baker Beach the other weekend. The 14K Gold chain is so delicate and contrasts beautifully with the blue magnesite stones. Blue Magnesite stones are said to have a relaxing and calming effect. I don’t know if it was the stones or slight breeze on the sunny beach, but this was an incredibly calm and blissful day.
