Our Love Story

As a blogger, so much of my life is an open book. That is one of the things I like and dislike most about what I do. I feel so connected to my followers, and genuinely love being able to connect with so many incredible people around the world in a way that has never been available in the past. I do, however, cherish my privacy and the undocumented moments of true joy with the people I love. If you have been following my blog for a while, chances are you know a little bit about the handsome man in my life but I never go into too much detail. I have shared glimpses into our life together, but what you probably don’t know is how our love story came about. We partnered with Silver Jeans to share our Love Story, and I encourage you to watch their hilarious mini series “Love Below the Waist” documenting the awkward stages you go through at the start of a relationship.

Vacay Dresses

Good morning guys! I am in total vacay mode with all of this amazing weather we have been having in San Francisco! I’m dying for a piña colada, the ocean breeze, bronzed skin and of course time to put all my sun dresses to good use. I learned from last year and snagged all of the cute sundresses/swimsuits/sunhats early this year because all of the best styles and sizes always sell out as soon as we get into late Spring/Summer. I am just in love with this dress I picked up from Modern Vintage Boutique. It would be perfect for honeymooning or candlelit dinners on the beach while on vacation! Also – this is a PSA announcement that you will be seeing a lot more of this hat – sorry in advance.

Good morning, guys! I hope you are all having a great week so far! It has been so beautiful in San Francisco, but I can’t help but think back to this time last week when I was in New York and it was equally as beautiful!! I constantly hear about Greecologies from my NY friends and was so excited to finally try it on my trip last week. It was warm enough to sit outside in the courtyard, which seems crazy to say with all of the snow they have gotten this week!

Good morning and happy Monday beautiful people!! I am so excited to be able to finally announce that this beautiful eyelash lace, bell sleeve top is now available from Bliss Tulle! Finding the perfect top to pair with a tulle skirt can be tricky, but thankfully this makes the decision obvious. The top hits at the perfect spot at the waist, right where the tulle skirt starts. I have worn and had tops similar to this in the past, but none even come close to this custom piece available at Blisstulle. It is so dainty, feminine and stretchy!!! Stretchy is the key! I have had to be careful wearing delicate lace tops in the past, which isn’t ideal, especially since I am usually wearing a tulle skirt for some type of event and want to be able to move around at my own will. Here I paired it with the Emma Skirt in Cream Champagne, which compliments it perfectly.

Boho Braids and Ruffled Sleeves

Happy Friday, loves!! I found the most perfect top to ever be made from Catch Bliss Boutique recently. These sleeves give me LIFE. Exaggerated sleeves are such a trend right now and I am totally into it. I have so much travel coming up in the next 2 months, but honestly you cannot get much better than what San Francisco has to offer. It truly is one of the most incredible places on earth, with so much beauty spanning such a small amount of space. We took these images in the Marin Headlands, feeling totally inspired by the lush land from the all the recent rain. There were actual Calla Lilies growing in a field overlooking the lighthouse, near the lands edge. I pinch myself every day that I get to live here.
