Faux Leather and a Cabby Hat
Good Morning and Happy Monday guys! Today’s post is all about trying new things and why I think you should be doing it constantly! Most of my favorite clothing items and accessories are ones that I thought I would never be able to wear. Case in point: hats. I have always loved the way a hat could bring a look together, but thought I would feel so weird actually wearing one out in public. It felt so awkward the first few times wearing it, but fast forward 4 years and I rarely go a day without one. The point I am trying to make is, you’ll never know if something will work for you unless YOU go try it!! If you think one of the trends isn’t for you, like a cabby hat or round sunnies, I urge you to try it anyways! Trying new things allows you to learn new things about yourself.
This obviously doesn’t only pertain to fashion! For example, I am a known night owl and have always said that it is just the way I am. For the last 2 months I have been forcing myself to wake up at 7:15 and go to bed by 11 pm. Switching up my routine gave me sort of a restart and inspired me to get the majority of my work done before Patrick comes home. Do I think my night owl days are gone? No. But sticking to this new routine has been amazing for my energy and I am now reserving all-nighters for when they are absolutely necessary.
When was the last time you tried something new and what did you learn about yourself?!

Beautiful outfit! I love your mentality of trying new things regardless if people will judge or not. Like who cares? I always believe in finding ways to make something work. But i’m right there with you on the night owl syndrome. I’m forcing myself to get to bed before midnight and that’s a challenge, haha!
