The Audrey Top

Happy Sunday and Happy Mother’s Day to all of the beautiful mama’s out there!! I am SO excited to share the two newest lace tops from the most whimsical of shops: Bliss Tulle. I am always being asked what to wear with tulle skirts for weddings, engagement photos, birthday parties, etc. and Bliss Tulle seriously could not make the decision easier with their new line of delicate, lace tops. The Audrey Top was first released back in March and the original has the most incredible Bell Sleeves (remember this post?!) and now there are even more tops to lust over! I decided to show you how each of the tops looked with the same skirt so that they were easy to compare. The first top pictured below is the Audrey 3/4 Sleeve Top. I just love the scalloped trim on the sleeves and how flattering the sleeve length is when paired with a tulle skirt! The second top featured below is the Audrey Sleeveless Top which is so perfect leading into the summer months and seriously looked so perfect in this magical location!! So here’s the question.. which one would you get?! Personally, it’s a tie for me because they are both perfect for different reasons!! So obviously I had to get both, as I love having all 3 sleeve lengths for different occasions!

Wine Tasting in Sonoma County

Happy Friday, loves! I’m bringing you Pt. 2 of my girls getaway just in time for the weekend! Last month I took a trip with a couple of girlfriends to the Farmhouse Inn (more on that here) and we had the best time exploring Sonoma County and all of it’s undeniable charm. I am constantly being asked where to go in wine country, and prior to this I have always listed my favorite wineries in Napa, but the second my world was introduced to what Sonoma County has to offer – my opinions started to shift. Sonoma County is home to incredible restaurants, shopping and of course – some of the best wineries in the world. They have all of this without the overflow of tourists and the price tag associated with Napa – so everything seems to be a lot more relaxed and much more reasonably priced.

Dorothy Perkins SS17: Ruffles

Ruffles aren’t just for tops and dresses anymore – a new trend has emerged: ruffled heels.

And i’m in love.

Honestly though, have you seen anything cuter than these blush ruffled heels from Dorothy Perkins?! They have the same flattering benefits of a nude heel, but with a much more girly flare. Oh, and they also sent me the cutest “May” birthstone bangle for my birthday month! I haven’t taken it off since I got it – it pairs perfectly with all of my gold accessories. I wore this look during my first day at the Farmhouse Inn for a girls trip last month (read all about that trip here). All of the pieces are from DP’s Spring Collection, and are closet staples. Girls Trip to the Farmhouse Inn

A couple of weeks ago I took a girls trip with two of my favorite ladies, Olia from Love, Olia and Erika of Whiskey & Lace, to the Farmhouse Inn. This was my second visit to the Farmhouse (remember Patrick and I’s Anniversary Getaway?!), and it just solidified the fact that it is one of the absolute best places you can stay while visiting wine country or for a relaxing getaway from the day-to-day. It also proved to be the perfect place to escape for some quality time with the girls in a cozy and beyond luxurious setting. Right when we arrived, we instantly felt like we were on vacation. We were each poured a glass of wine and caught up in the courtyard as our bags were collected from our cars and set up in our separate rooms.

Coming down from a birthday high as I open the emails that i’ve neglected for the last few days while celebrating my 26th. I am an incredibly strong and hard-headed woman down to my bones, but I feel things so very deeply, and all of the love I received this year has been incredibly humbling. The messages, calls, texts, videos and comments are not lost on me. I read every single one. I am so grateful for this little community we have created. You guys are what allow me to do what I love every single day, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and support you show me.
