Tuscan Dreams

I fell in love with Bliss Tulle and their incredibly whimsical skirts years ago. It was always a challenge to find the perfect top to pair with the skirts. They had to be the right length, fit and needed to compliment the beauty of the skirt. When Bliss Tulle announced that they were making delicate lace tops that would match the beauty of their skirts, it was a total game-changer. The tops have a slight stretch in them that makes them perfect for what they are typically made for: events and photoshoots. They also come in several different styles and colors, with this one being the newest from the range. I love the scalloped-edges, the bell sleeves and the pale nude shade that this one comes in. I paired the pale nude top with Bliss Tulle’s newest skirt style, The Willow. The Willow also has a slit in it, which I have always wanted in the tulle skirts! This all pale nude look is so elegant and perfect for engagement photos, bridal showers, birthday parties, etc. etc. etc.

Vintage Florals and Hammitt

I am so excited to finally announce the launch of of Hammitt’s newest styles!! I have been obsessed with Hammit for YEARS – and I swear each new collection just gets better and better. I love this grey and tan color combo for transitioning into fall and you will love all of the little pockets for convenience! I always put my keys, wallet and phone in the outside zipper pocket for easy access and then my makeup, brush (yes I always carry a brush lol), etc. in the main compartment. Love a well-thought-out design.

Weekend Whites

Happy Saturday, loves! Weekends in the city are really hard to beat. There is always somewhere new to explore and different experiences to be had. My favorite thing to do is just wander the streets with a coffee in hand, looking at pretty homes, flowers and stumbling upon the cutest little shops. Today is one of those calm, zero plans, wandering around the city days and I wouldn’t have it any other way!! What are you all getting into this weekend?

Patrick has spent the last 3 years taking the CFA exam, all while excelling in his career, landing his dream job, giving me his very little free time and agreeing to be a part-time model (okay but can you blame me for wanting a million pictures of him?). If you are familiar with the exam then you know how proud I am to say he passed the 3rd and final exam after 3 years and countless hours of studying. Every single day he amazes me more and inspires me in the most powerful ways. We are so glad it is OVER and we have our weekends back for good!!!

Sorry for the random mushy love post, but I am so proud I can’t contain it! I just made reservations at Acquerello in Russian Hill to celebrate. Have any of you been?! I heard it’s incredible!
