Black and Grey in DTLA
This week I will be doing a round up of my outfits from my recent trip to Los Angeles. I wore this look with black flats on the flight, then swapped them out for these insane heels for a night out in DTLA. I love this look for traveling because it is incredibly comfortable, and effortlessly chic. It is perfect when you’re having to run from place to place, which was my life during this quick trip. I met up with Ryan Chua pretty much strait from the airport to snap a few pictures and to grab a quick dinner at Urth Caffé (try the Caravan Kale Salad and a Japanese Tea Latté). Ryan is a well-known street style photographer, odds are you’ve seen some of his pictures from NYFW, and we used to work together all the time when he lived in SF. However, he recently moved to L.A. and is absolutely killing it, so it was fun to get together and catch up!
I honestly cannot tell you how excited I am about finding this Grey Suede Moto Jacket from Foi Clothing. I already know this is going to be the jacket of the season come Fall. It is the softest material and feels more like you’re wearing a sweater. I also love the zipper detailing and the fact that it is shorter in the back. It pairs perfectly with a peplum top!
I mean… You’re in love. Right? I can easily say these are the most badass heels I have ever owned. It literally looks like you are walking on air with the clear metal heel. I got stopped about a million times while I was out to ask where I got them. Public Desire, people. Public. Desire.
I’ve had my eyes on this marble faced watch for quite some time now and I finally bit the bullet and added it to my extensive watch collection. It is such a statement piece and looks incredibly luxe. The grey suede jacket pulls out the marble, and ties the entire look together.
