I’ve been thinking a lot about social media and how I think it becomes whatever you make it. A lot of people have a preconceived notion of what it is and think that it means you aren’t present. And perhaps that is the case for a lot of people. I do, however, know that is not the way I view it. My blog takes me to the most incredible places and I get to enjoy it with like-minded, creative, extremely talented, driven and inspiring people. We challenge each other to be better. Nourish each others interests. We create art, but more importantly we create bonds with those we work with. I can truly say I have met some of the most incredible people and my greatest friends through social media. I have met those who I look up to, and have gotten to tap into their minds even if only for a day. I learn so much from every person I meet in this business and cherish the relationships I have made because of it. The world can be a beautiful place if you allow it to be. No one says things have to be the way it may seem.
